Maison Mitteault, a French family-owned producer renowned for foie gras and gourmet products, needed modern UX/UI concepts for their future e-commerce platform. The goal was to design two key pages — the homepage and the “Domaine” (About) page — with an elegant, modern look that enhances storytelling and product presentation while preserving the authenticity and heritage of the brand.

The challenge was to respect their traditional values while creating a premium, modern design that appeals to a broader audience. The objective was to deliver clear, reusable UX/UI concepts that balance heritage and innovation, with a strong visual identity aligned with the brand’s ambitions.

Notre approche

UX/UI Design – Homepage

A bespoke design created in Figma with a clear structure and reusable components. The layout highlights Maison Mitteault’s heritage, premium products, and culinary inspiration, while integrating practical CTAs for purchase and navigation.

UX/UI Design – Domaine Page

A narrative-driven design presenting the brand’s history, craftsmanship, and local roots. Elements included a timeline, storytelling sections, and a refined visual universe blending tradition with modernity.

Impact et résultats

The new UX/UI concepts provide Maison Mitteault with a strong visual foundation for their upcoming e-commerce website. The designs strike a balance between tradition and modern appeal, ensuring the brand can connect with both loyal customers and a new generation of gourmet enthusiasts.

Direction créative

The creative direction focuses on a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional French luxury, where heritage and savoir-faire form the narrative core. A visual universe is created that combines rural authenticity (farms, ducks, raw ingredients) with an elegant and refined presentation of the product, generating a controlled contrast between origin and sophistication. The use of airy compositions, light backgrounds and oval elements reinforces a timeless, editorial aesthetic, whilst serif typography and accents in burgundy and gold tones evoke prestige, tradition and artisanal quality.

In terms of visual decisions, priority is given to a clear, product-centred hierarchy, accompanied by historical storytelling (timelines, key dates) that lends the brand credibility. Photography plays a key role by alternating between the emotional (landscapes, context of origin) and the aspirational (carefully staged packshots, dramatic lighting). Furthermore, subtle and decorative graphic elements lend identity without being overwhelming, maintaining a balance between digital modernity and the classic codes of the gourmet sector, positioning the brand as premium, approachable and authentic.
